Wait to work ... Again

Just finish eating my tang yuan which me and my mom cook this morning. Winter Soltice day is the day for today ^^ May all Chinese around the world enjoy this very great day which bring a sign of family gathering and enjoyment together !

Aaa ... At last, the work at the 14th ASEAN University Games is done. For the past four days since 17th December, i had been working as a basketboy for this event. My responsibility is to pick up the cloths that the swimmers wore before going into the pool and place them at the a certain place where the swimmers will then go and collect their cloths after finishing their event. It was quite a relaxing job. We averagely work one hour in the morning session and around 3 hours for the evening session. We are each given a cap, two t shirts, a small bag while our food and drinks are provided. The total pay for four days work were rm250. Is it worth it ? Hmmm ... i guess so since we are getting around rm10+ per hour. However. the tired thing was we need to wait too long for every event. Well, as likely as anyone will know, waiting is a more exhausting work than doing work. Some might not agree but i do agree with this. Haha

So, to be exact, i learn nothing much from this work except for socialising with my colleagues as well as the officials. Most are wealthy dudes especially those sitting in the office. For this work, it was fun and work. Good enough for me though since i was never intend to learn anything from this work. Just go Bukit Jalil and spend some time on work then get a few bucks while getting to know other people as well as seeing things. That's all. I can say that i saw a lot especially Malaysia national swimmers. Daniel Bego, Khoo Chai Lin and a few more. What amazed me most are not their status but their physical attributes. Though just around my age, their maturity and physical appearance cover them up. Well, athletes ^^

Overall, it was a fun working experience though i did felt exhaustion creeping along my body. Maybe it was because i need to fetch people around. LOL. Anyway, it was great fun !
