UPM

At last, i am able to find some free time to update my blog after a month or more of absent. Sorry to my dearest follower *Kalau Ada @.@* So, today is the second Friday i had spend my university life in UPM. Last week was a total busy week since it was an orientation week going by the name MINGGU PERKASA PUTRA 2009/10. An enjoyable week where new friends are known and the exploration of the main campus. UPM is definitely big. Fortunately for us engineering students, our faculty is located near our college a.k.a hostel. I lived in the 10th college which is the boys college while beside us, is the 11th college whichi is the girls college. No worries reader, 11th college is totally safe from the evil thoughts or deeds of 10th college students. LOL. BECAUSE !!! To go up into those rooms, u need to go pass gates and grills. So, the only way for those who wants to couple or discuss assignments was at the ground floor of 11th college which is cosy and comfortable compared to 10th college. Perhaps it was because our ground floor housed a cafe which the 11th college doesn't have. And, 11th college does seems to be cleaner... Well, i guess that is one thing where the girls are different from the boys. LOL

So, during our orientation week. Sunday was for registration so freshies were quite free. The real thing begans on Monday which is quite a disaster since we are all going to the Main Hall located inside the main campus. Our college were totally defeated in the cheers competition which is quite an unofficial competition but rather a tradition between the colleges in UPM. So, first day. 10th college walk out of the main hall like defeated dudes. Imagine, we are the only boys college and we got defeated by a bunch of college that has fewer boys. Almost one time lesser. So, back at the college, we were condemned by our seniors. Sissy ... girlish ... disgrace ... worst batch ... Well, those things just keep coming ... Anyway, we praticed our cheers in the evening and at night after we came back from our night lecture. We practiced till around 1am i think. Just to renew the battle for Tuesday. So, for the next few days, with renewed spirit, the 10th college conquered the cheer competition and the main hall. We were the meaniest, naughtiest and nonsense group of undergraduate in the hall. With our counterpart of course, 11th college. These two college are kinda like husband and wife ^^ By the end of everything, almost 3/4 of our people lost their voice including myself. Imagine 200 boys cheering against 3000+ people. Well, one thing is for sure, the other 15 colleges hated us and only one college like us which i must say, a tradition. LOL

Went back during the weekends. Just for the afternoon on Sunday and by night, i was back at my room figuring out the next day activity also known as the first day of real life at UPM. So far, the first week of class in UPM has been quite an experience for me. Everything from academic to students affair will be conduct and responsibled totally by myself. It was a busy week where we need to go back and forth from our faculty to the main campus. For classes and some introduction lectures at the library while getting to know UPM better.

Overall, university life is totally a new experience for me and i am looking forward to it more. I can sense the exciting future !!! ^^ And some definitely hard times when the assignments as well as tutorial comes in into my schedule. For now, i am still free. Ho Hoz.

But there is still one thing remains in my thoughts now. How are you, my friends ? Doing well ? I hope so and all the best to all of us in our future pursued of a tertiary education.

Well, till next time i guess... SAYONARA

Spending Spree

Off day ... It has been long since i last have my real off day ... Well, considering for the past few off days, i needed to go around servicing computer and setting up streamyx. But hey, it is a good thing still since i am still receiving money for my service. Can't really complain. LOL

So ... Off day starts with a good chat with my cousin sister who just came back from Sabah upon finishing her final semester exam at UMS. Coming back for her intern with a company that will be paying her rm500 per month for three months. Cheap labour is her description. ^^ Later on ... Asked my mom to go shopping for books at Mid Valley. Well, i had not buy any books since i started to work. Hmm ... It is time i spend some of my salary on books. Muahah. So, went to Mid Valley at around 11am. First stop. Sport shop. LOL. Making MPH the final destination because i tend to spend at least half an hour inside choosing some books to fill in my leisure time. Hehe. Instead of looking for basketball shoes, i was looking for basketball this time around. Intend to buy a new one since my basketballs are all starting to feel out of shape. LOL. Besides looking for balls, me and my mom do some window shopping on some basketball shoes for my brother. Well, since his basketball shoes has started to lose its grip, maybe it is time he change a new one. Just giving my mom some idea on what basketball shoes they should look for the very next time they went out to shopping with my brother.

Next stop, we went to some computer shops since i will be buying myself a laptop in near future. Went into Asus,Dell, Acer,HP and Lenovo. The best service attitude goes to Lenovo because it is the only shop where its salesperson really serve me and my mom. Hahaz. Besides browsing for laptops, i take this chance to do a bit of homework and that is to survey the price of accessories at Mid Valley's computer shops. Well, not much difference to be frank. Just around at most rm 10. It makes me felt my boss is 'throwing' the price of accessories at our counter which means i am earning my commission like a few cent everytime i sell an item at my counter. Sad...

After visting the few shops enlisted above, we went to MPH. At last ... But is is kinda sad when i found out that Simon Scarrow's books are no longer available in MPH. I am still missing out a few books written by him. Well, life goes on so i pick a few other historical fiction books written by other authors instead. Seems interesting at first glance ^^ Back from Mid Valley at around 1.30pm. Went back out to Cheras Leisure Mall at the evening to watch Star Trek with K Meng, C beng, Chia Chun and Difu. Hmm ... Out of ten, i will give this movie a 7.5. It was indeed a good movie. Likes it plot and special effects. Indeed, i spent my RM7 wisely this time ! LOL

Dinner at night was to celebrate Mother's Day. Ho Ho Ho.

So... overall spendings for today will be RM 150(books) + RM 90(dinner) + RM 20 (movie) = RM 260. Indeed, i did my first spending spree for the first time since i started to work. Ho Ho Ho

Oik ... before i end this, i came by these few pictures in my mobile phone when i was so free that i check the pictures out in my mobile phone. LOL. Enjoy !

On my way back home ...

Wesak Day

Arrr ... Equine again this time around. Period of working is 12pm till 10pm. Good or bad ? Well, let's review what i did since 12pm... Sold two laptops. RM1699 + one order for dell mini 12(rm50 for booking fee). Then, stick some price tags on some of the items sold in Equine. Equine is darn short of price tag so i am using the price tags done at Cheras Selatan. LOL. The price tags at Equine are mostly imported from Cheras Selatan now since their most senior salesperson, Miss Jun is not around for two months. Sad story behind it. Personal reason so no point on evaluating too much on that. Ho ho.

Done with the price tags ? Yap. Then went for a two hours yum cha session with Ah Loon, my senior a.k.a KL outlets sales leader. LOL. Talk about those nonsense stuff, computer stuffs, sales, technical stuff and life insight. Well, better than sitting our ass at the counter doing nothing. So, that is how we, SNS Network staffs spend our time in Jusco Equine working. Bad and good. We had done it all. Muahaha. Well, as long as the monthly sales is taken cared of, we can just do anything without getting too much trouble from our Ipoh HQ. They want sales ! So, let's just let them look at the figures. Keep a little bit of low profile on how we work here. LOL

And now, my senior has went back to tend to his personal activities. He was back at around 5.30pm. He was due to out at 6pm. Well, that is how we work at Equine. One person at the counter is more than enough. So, one come, one go. Doesn't matter what time that person work until. Relax... Help help cover ... Take care of sales ... Everything done nicely and perfectly ... There ! No people from the HQ will come to disturb us. Though what we did or how we work here will definitely give the HQ people a big headache, as long as our boss likes what he sees, we can work the way we wanted. Everything just came back to sales. That is how things or system works here at SNS Network. Only in KL outlets. LOL

Hmm ... I still can't believe today is holiday cause things seems to be so "no people" here. No people = no sales. Untill now, i have only sold a total of rm65 for acc sales. Sad ...

Well, anyways ... At here, i can go at around 9.30pm. So, everything that is bad has a good thing behind it. Well ... Life is so deep in details when you try to read it more and more. ~Complicated yet too real~

By the way, yesterday night was a great time spend together with a bunch of friends. Kinda keep me update with what is happening in our circle of friendship. Kah Wei is in a relationship, Siew Ling is as well. Well, i think given a few more months, a few more couples will arise. LOL. Looking forward to it.

K then. Back to work i guess... Sayonara ~~~~
