Random

Just came back from playing basketball at Bt 11 basketball court which is different from my usual Tuesday routine. Normally, i will be playing badminton with another group of adult at Bukit Segar on Tuesday night. Anyway, it will be fun to change a bit from my usual routine ei ^^

So, today is my off day. I felt myself sounding a bit lame. Lol. Usual stuff... Wake up at 9.30am which was refered as early by my friend, Ming Wei. I didn't bath until just now. Haha. Watch TV, read book and offline DOTA whole afternoon. One of my customer's brother called me this morning though. He said he wanted to book a Vostro 1310 for J Card day which is today and tomorrow at Mid Valley. Too bad. I was given no choice but to reject his booking since post sales ended at 2pm yesterday. However, i did asked him to go to Mid Valley Jusco to see if there is a ready stock for Vostro 1310 at my company's counter. If there is, he can get the laptop straight after paying RM 1999 and redeem the RM 200 Jusco cash voucher. If there is none and he insist on buying it, well ... he might as well pay today at our counter and get the laptop in three days time. Wait ^^

Hmm ... Never knew what happen to him cause i didn't go to work at Mid Valley Jusco for the J card day. All the best dude ^^

I think that's all for this post then ... Oh wait ... There are two questions that i need to answer for myself. Lol

One thing that went well for me today is i get to eat Bak Kut Teh for dinner by myself after a session of tiring basketball game. One thing that didn't went well for me today is i felt troublesome the whole afternoon. Lol

How did i create these situations ?
Hmm ... For the dinner thingy, i asked my family not to leave any dinner out cold for me and i have choose to eat Bak Kut Teh when the other two restaurant that i wanted to go was closed. For the troublesome part, i think it is because i did not take my bath the whole day since waking up which caused my body to feel not comfortable. Lol

Off Day

Today is my off day from work. Yap, my off day is on the weekdays rather than the weekends. Lol. The reason ? There are more customers to serve on weekends so the counter that i work at need all the staff available. Hardly get any off day on the weekends ^^

So ... How i spend my off day ? Not going out anywhere since all my friends are working and studying. Darn free at home. So, i sleep myself till 9.30 in the morning and then went to BT 11 basketball court to play two hours of basketball. Well, normally on weekdays, the court was deserted. But today, the court is rather crowded with some bunch of college kids and some afternoon session primary kiddos. Anyway, was able to find myself a court to play in. I skipped the 30 round of basketball running today. My leg felt weak. But the truth is, i am just to lazy to run after shooting dunno-how-may-times. Haha

Back at home. I was playing DOTA offline the whole afternoon till 7pm. Finish up all my Simon Scarrow's book so i am kinda free of books to read. Anyway, computer AI has been my companion for the whole afternoon. Haha. At this point, i still wish Lion is still here. Miss him quite a lot since the last time i saw that fella. Well, perhaps next time when i own a place of myself. A big enough place for my dog to roam around. For now, i might just let the books and PC to be my companion. Lol

Hmm ... Has been thinking about STPM result these few days. Just two to three weeks more before the result will be announced. I expected around that time. A mix feelings of anxious and worry fill me up. It seems like my confidence of getting a good result is starting to betray myself slowly as the time comes. What the hell is that ? Well, i guess that is part of the process of waiting an examination result. Never been this worried before though. Perhaps, my consciousness has make me realized that STPM will be the last examination that i will faced if the i do not fare well in it. A part of me is afraid to move on into the unknown while another part of me says worse come to worse, i'll just face it. Feelings which makes one felt troubled living life. Still, the word of mind comforting comes by itself. You had tried your best. What is done is done. Besides, how good you fare shows how much effort you had put in these one and a half year. Positively said yet the worry remains. Sure it remains. It is your future in hand. Which person who is not afraid of travelling into the unknown a.k.a future? It is just the heart to go on... The confidence to breakthrough the barrier of self-conflict as well as low self confidence that makes one grow more mature in facing life itself. See the self conflict in me? I am laughing at it myself. Haha

Well, might as well just hope and pray for the best ei ? Howdy ... Howdy...

A Valentine

First of all, Happy 20th Birthday to May Ying (15/2/2009). Secondly, Happy 20th Birthday to Chia Chun (14/2/2009) as well. And for all, Happy Valentine's Day. Be it couple or single.

Hmm... My Valentine's Day was quite normal and it is a routine just like everyday before. Woke up at 6.30am and went to Batu 11 Balakong basketball court. Ran 30 rounds then play ball with some bunch of kids. Jackie,Ramon and me as one team. 3 on 3 is the theme of the day. My legs were like toufu by the end of my basketball session. Started work at 11.20am though my shift starts at 12pm. Wanted to work earlier so that i can go back earlier. Never did went back early anyway since i check out at 8pm. Lol

Ups and downs incidents at work. Still in the process of learning. Well, like what we all know, each and every people will have a different personality and different idea about something. So, learrning to cope with situations where i need to convince customers about different products cum recommending, carrier service, call service and the list goes a long way down.Overall, sales cum service working environment. There are many couples today at Jusco and quite a few of girls who had flowers bouquet in their hands. Ho Ho Ho. God bless ^^

After work, went to Mei Yen's house for a bbq party upon this Valentine's Day. Eat, crap, joke and drink are what we all did. Simplified the whole event = Gathering. The only difference is we are missing couples except for the ever sweet Man Soon and his beloved girlfriend. It was great time spend together. Were having too much time talking nonsense that i forgotten to take any pictures. Anyway, gathering ends with the girls giving the boys Valentine's gift. Boys' gift are scheduled on the 14 of March. Lol. Never thought there is a tradition like this @.@ Anyway, a billion thanks to Kok Wah, Sze Chi, Xiang Yi and Lim Shi for the gives ^^ Appreciate it ...

Before going back, the boys gave Mei Yen a hand in washing the BBQ stuff.... ~shi shua shua~shi shua shua~ And then ------> The end ^^

"What do you think i should buy for my boyfriend ?"

"Do you have any idea where i should dine with my girlfriend ?"

Those are the few questions that was asked by few of my colleagues since Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Let's see ... Two more days excluding today. I wonder how eagerly the couples around me will be waiting for this day to come. Not to mention it is a significant day for couples around the world. Old and young. I will leave the wishing for you all on the very day ^^

Funny . Though i am in a relationship for one and a half year but i never did celebrate Valentine's Day. Some might think i make a bad boyfriend out of myself. Well, PERHAPS ... Hmmm, let me re-flash back what was the reason behind the absence of celebrating Valentine's Day with her. Ohh ... I was working that time and so was she. Can't get an off day. So, we left it for next time which never actually did came. Lol.

"A watch, pen or maybe you can opt for a couple accessories such as t-shirt or ring... "

"Dine at a place which is romantic and make it a memorable dinner for both of you... "

Lol. Those were some of the lame answers i gave. Well, i don't suppose i am in any state or suitable place to give advices because i can't be the one that will understand your partner more than yourself ei. So, i just kinda give them the usual answers. Normally ... For couples ... Ho Ho Ho

Well, single fellas. For us, like what Mr Kar Leong said last time. Valentine's Day is Single Awareness Day which is much equally to SAD. No harms done though. This is a day where we find ourselve looking happily at the lovebirds while feeling a bit what love is all about. I've been wondering about that a long time now.

Some just say love is nothing but an illusion. Some might said love is a sad thing. Some might said being in love is the happiest thing one can ask for in life. And a tonnes of theories yet about love. Hmmm... which is right and which is wrong ? We'll never know i guess since love is something we can't see which means we can't judge or analyse its' logic like scientific researches. Hardy ... Hardy ...

But i must say though, love really is one thing that makes me feel i am human ^^

CNY 2009

Yesterday marked the end of another Chinese New Year but not the end of the NIU year. Don't get me wrong. Haha.

So, it has been two weeks then since my last post. Been celebrating and working during those two weeks. It was a well worth two weeks of Chinese New Year. Great and enjoyable !!! Spending time with family and friends are really two great things that i enjoyed doing. Ho Ho Ho. But unfortunately, the starting of this very new year has been quite a bad luck for me. I lost around RM 80 to my bad luck. Lol. Never an avid gambler myself since i just play for the sake of fun once every year.Well, let's just hope my luck will be better the coming year. Haha

Went for bai nian with my friends from my Buddha Youth Camp and Yu Hua. I must say sorry for not being able to join Chris and the others for the one day Pangkor Trip since you all are going it during CNY which my parents greatly object about the idea of doing so. Next time, bai nian laaa ... Haha. Celebrated K Sheng's birthday on the 13th day of CNY. Great guy. Known him for 5 years now. I still remember a bittter memory of our friendship when we quarrel and have not talk to each other for weeks but in the end, everything turns out to be just fine. I still laugh myself out when i think back about the reason we quarrel. Childish manners. Lol. Hmmm ... Well, what can i say... Friendhip is what keep us back on track ^^

Work... Started working at SNS Network. Has been one week already since i started my work. Need to start back from the scratch about everything. How to write a sales order, remembering the details of every products at the counter, explaining to customers about the products, updating myself about the computer market sales and bla bla bla. Computer sales ... In my opinion, the hard thing about doing computer sales is not about selling the laptops or desktop but it is how you gained your customer's trust to fork out a few thousand ringgit to buy your product and service. Computer sales is NOT selling product but it is about selling service. Anyway, it has been a learning week for me. Able to close one laptop sale while was give the aeroplane by another customer in another laptop sale. I could have sold two laptops in one week. Urghhh ... Anyway, failure will play a big part in my working days wei. The hint is to learn to minimise the percentage of fail sale. I am given the chance to learn something which i think is important in coming days. Social communication skills (Not the speaking in front of crowd type but instead the way of communicating and socialising with strangers), character and personalities identifying thingy, self awareness and a couple few more. I am learning how to twist my words around though i must say i fare badly in it. But heck, no point giving up and not trying it ei ? ^^
