University Dude: Holiday With Family

SUNGAI LEMBING

The purpose of going to Sungai Lembing with my family was to climb a hill called Panorama Hill. The name tells it all. It is really panoramatic up when we reach the top. Sunrise... Mountains ... Clouds ... It was just a magnificent view high up there. Which makes waking up at 4 in the morning and start climbing up the hill at 5am with only darkness surrounding worthwhile. The previous night which was on the 27th December 2008, was full of teardrops of heaven. My whole family was praying for it to stop so that the long journey here were not dampend by the rainy day. Alas, our prayers were called the very morning and god bless us that much. Ho Ho Ho

Spend some time at the peak of the hill taking pictures with my family. After taking our breakfast, we went to a snooker centre in a middle of a small rural area *even Cheras Perdana is bigger than Sg Lembing*. I was darn helpless in snooker. My father was DOMINATING ! Mind you, he plays snooker in his younger days so who can blame him for bullying the innnocent out of my bro and me^^ Before heading to Cherating, we went to GUa Charas. The stairs at Batu Caves is nothing compare to this. Well, the least i know is that we were climbing a small hill which is situated in the middle of mountains. Caves ... Just beauties of nature that amaze me more ! Plus, there are buddhas in the cave. Man made i guess but we did go in and pray. Ho Ho Ho. Can't pray for any things that benefit us materially so we can just pray for a better days ahead and a peace and harmony life for the whole family ^^ After the tour, Cherating is the next destination ... Lo Lo Lo

CHERATING

Hmmm ... There is nothing much i can say about Cherating. White sandy beach, great ocean view and superb nice wind ^^. Time with family ? Play cards with cousins, swimming and eat dinners ... Usual stuff. The unusual things i had done were exploring the seashore alone in the morning while exploring my thoughts in the same time, visit Petronas Industrial site, went to the gym and sleep through the afternoon like a pig ! I never did those for any trips before. Perhaps, i had really started to appreciated how nature has its going more and the time spent for a peaceful and harmony thoughts. Ho Ho Ho. Overall, it was a great trip with great and new experiences and i am looking forward to future ones. Below are some pictures i caught. The only disappointment i had during this trip is the inability to take the pictures of the stars and sea waves at night cause my camera is not sensitive to the light enough.
